Manzil Immigration guides skilled professionals, graduates and families from Mumbai through the Canada permanent residency process. We are based in Zirakpur (Punjab) and Brampton (Ontario), and we work with Mumbai applicants online: your profile assessment is done on a video or phone call, documents are shared digitally, and you receive updates on WhatsApp and email.
A Canada PR application depends on small details: the right NOC code, a valid language test, a correct Educational Credential Assessment (ECA), consistent work history and complete documents. A mistake can cost you points, time or the whole application. Our job is to assess your profile honestly and build the strongest application for your situation.

There is no single best route. We compare the options that fit your age, education, experience and language level, then recommend one.
| Pathway | Who it suits | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Federal Skilled Worker (Express Entry) | Skilled professionals with work experience outside Canada | Needs a minimum language level, an ECA for foreign education, and enough points on the 67-point eligibility grid. You then compete on your CRS score. |
| Canadian Experience Class | People with skilled work experience in Canada | For those already in Canada on a work permit or post-graduation work permit. |
| Federal Skilled Trades | Qualified tradespeople | Needs qualifying trade experience and, in many cases, a certificate of qualification or a job offer. |
| Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) | Candidates whose skills match a province's labour needs | Streams and intakes differ by province. A nomination through an Express Entry-aligned stream adds 600 CRS points. |
| Family sponsorship | Spouses, partners, parents and dependent children of Canadian citizens or PRs | Sponsor must meet eligibility rules. Process is separate from Express Entry. |
| Business immigration | Entrepreneurs and investors | Programs and conditions change often, so we review current options with you. |

Mumbai is home to large tech, finance, healthcare and engineering workforces. These profiles often fit Canadian skilled immigration, but each case is decided by NOC code, experience, language score and age.
Tech candidates often score well on education and experience points, but only if the job duties on your reference letters match the right NOC code.
Accountants, financial analysts, engineers, nurses and other healthcare workers, marketing and operations managers can also qualify. Regulated professions (such as nursing or engineering) may need additional licensing in the province where you settle.
Note: IRCC announces category-based Express Entry draws (for example for certain occupations or French speakers) and the categories can change from year to year. We check the current list on the IRCC website before advising you.
Express Entry is Canada's online system for managing PR applications from skilled workers. You enter a pool, get ranked by CRS score, and the highest-ranked candidates receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in regular draws.
Important: Since 25 March 2025, a valid job offer no longer adds CRS points. You do not need a job offer to enter the Express Entry pool.
| CRS block | What counts |
|---|---|
| Core / human capital | Age, education, first and second official language ability, Canadian work experience |
| Spouse or partner | Spouse's education, language ability and Canadian work experience (if applying with a partner) |
| Skill transferability | Combinations such as education with language, or foreign work experience with language |
| Additional points | Provincial nomination (600 points), French language ability, Canadian study, a sibling in Canada |
Retaking IELTS, CELPIP or PTE Core to reach a higher CLB level is often the fastest gain.
Even basic French can add points and may open French-language category draws.
A higher credential or a correctly assessed ECA can raise education points.
Deciding who is the principal applicant can change your total score.
More years of skilled experience, and correct NOC matching, add points.
An Express Entry-aligned PNP nomination adds 600 points.
Provinces nominate candidates who match their local labour needs. A PNP can be a strong option if your CRS score is below recent Express Entry draw cut-offs.
Note: Stream rules, occupation lists and intake dates change often. We verify each province's official page before we advise you. Read the full PNP guide.
